Eugene Borisov, partner at investment firm KAMA FLOW, talks about venture capital in an era of change in a new episode of the Causing Benefit podcast.
What was talked about:
🔹The key rate may remain high for a very long time, so the market conjuncture on the 2-3 year horizon is not very rosy.
🔹 Nevertheless, there is activity on the Russian market, just participants have become more experienced and are thoughtfully studying projects.
🔹Transactions at the Pre-IPO stage are highly overvalued, this is the reality of today's market in Russia.
🔹Focusing on the valuation of a company does not inspire investor confidence. If a project focuses on the size of the capital, it is a toxic dialogue. You need to talk to the investor about future plans.
🔹 KAMA FLOW scrutinises new projects and responds to all emails in any format, so every startup that applies has a chance.
