At the beginning of October, the Moscow Startup Summit took place at SberCity. More than 120 startups from Russia, Europe, and Asia presented their projects at the technology exhibition and in the pitch sessions.

KAMA FLOW partner Evgeny Borisov said in a comment to INK. that the Moscow Startup Summit is currently the only major platform that has brought together the entire venture sector: "At the Sber500 demo day, we selected promising startups, announced about 100 million in investments, and have already started working with new projects. Notably, this year, the organizers involved international teams, even if there were only a few. It's a valuable experience; we haven't seen this on the Russian scene for a long time."

President and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Herman Gref emphasized the significance of startups for economic development: "The main reason we participate in supporting startups is that it is a fast way to test hypotheses, which shortens the time to market for products by three or four times. The second reason is our social responsibility—to create an environment where many startups with breakthrough ideas appear."

Evgeny Borisov participated in the DemoDay Sber500 sessions and "DeepTech Startups and Investors: Very Patient and Smart Money?", and also moderated the session "Game Changers: Who Drives DeepTech in Russia." KAMA FLOW partner Pavel Okhonin was a speaker at the talk show "Investors. Where Are the Exits?". The summit also included company partner Kirill Tishin, investment director Sergey Gaivoronsky, and investment manager Anna Labunets.
