KAMA FLOW partner Evgeny Borisov summarised the industry's development at the MTS StartUp Day conference.
According to him, the venture capital market is experiencing a global correction, but this opens up new horizons for strategic investments: "We see that the venture capital market has globally gone into a counter-phase. Obviously, we are not at the bottom yet and the correction will continue. However, it is important to realise that crises always lead to structural transformation, opening up new opportunities for investment".
The participants of the meeting noted that the past year was a time to revise strategies and adapt to difficult economic conditions. At the same time, the Russian market, despite the current challenges, is actively developing, finding new formats for interaction between investors and startups.
